Light. Cool. Linen.

In the warmer months when clothing alone seems like too much to bear, lean towards linen for some relief. Made from the flax plant (one of the oldest cultivated plants in human history), linen is durable due to the variable length of its strands, cooler than cotton, and if cared for properly (machine wash on cold/gentle with a mild detergent and lay flat to dry for pants, shorts and shirts) can practically last a lifetime.

Thought to be one of the oldest textiles in the world, its been used as shrouds for mummies, as "paper" for banknotes and was the chosen textile for the robes of religious leaders. Initially the fibres are stiff and prone to wrinkle, but over time, the summer staple relaxes to provide the perfect fit with no fuss.
